Mid-Century Woodside

Woodside, CA

This historic renovation was the coming together of two generations. At 6,000 square feet, the home was built by Arjay Miller, who served as president of Ford Motor Company and dean of Stanford Graduate School of Business, and his wife- a decorator in her own right. When his son and daughter-in-law inherited the property they wanted to make the house their own, while still honoring Arjay’s original vision. Calcutta marble, limestone, exposed Walnut and a mix of new and former décor is found throughout the home. Warm colored velvet and mohair bring comfort to this modern home. It was designed for their lifestyle and entertaining, and that it will be.
