Growing up with two generations of builders, developers, designers and artists in her family, Megan was destined for the world of interior design/architecture. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she began her career designing and building furniture for a contemporary design company and assisting interior designers on residential & commercial projects in the Bay Area. After graduating from CCA, Megan moved to Los Angeles to work at world renowned design firm, Commune Design, where she pioneered their Product department and lead the design of over a dozen co-branded product collections that included: furniture, lighting, hardware, tiles, rugs and table tops. She also worked on several interior projects facilitating custom furnishings during her tenure at Commune.

With over 15 years of experience designing interiors, furniture and products for residential, retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces, Megan brings her diverse design expertise to create personalized and unique spaces and solutions for SDS clients. Her notable projects include: Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, Honest Company headquarters, home furnishings for West Elm, and tile collections for Exquisite Surfaces.

Born and raised in San Diego, Megan is a proud Californian who feels fortunate to have lived in the Golden State her whole life. Each year she falls more and more in love with its beaches, mountains, rivers, deserts, food and wine. She currently resides in Los Gatos with her husband and their two-year-old Labrador Retriever. Her favorite thing to do outside the office is spending a day at the beach with family, friends and her fur baby, Dune.
