Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Indonesia surrounded by beautiful nature that inspires me everyday.
What is your design philosophy?
Art, space, and people. These are the three elements that drive my passion to design timeless and functional spaces for all of my projects.
How did you get your start in design?
My passion for art started at a young age, when I was exposed to my mother’s art that she created with just a pencil. When I realized I wanted to become an Interior Designer I moved to California to study design at CSU Long Beach and I have never looked back.
How do you spend your time when you’re not working?
I enjoy doing projects with my two children and husband. We love to cook together and bike while visiting family around town.
Favorite quote, book or movie?
I have always admired the animation that Studio Ghibli created, my most favorite one will be “My Neighbor Totoro”. The storyline is filled with imagination, adventure and love. The animations are almost entirely hand-drawn, it is amazing how the artist captures the movement and expressions beautifully. Amazing movie and a piece of art!
